I didn’t think I would

Something to strike off my list of “Things I thought I would never do” – To run a marathon

Well, okay, so it’s not really a marathon, but it felt like one to me. I didn’t think I’d ever run a 10km race (10.6km to be exact), let alone sign up for one but my dearest, Zia Wen, convinced me too (also the boy wanted me to do it).
So, I did. AND THEN, my dearest decided to bail on me! Can’t blame her though, she fell sick so I was left alone (with some friends of course) but I wanted to run this feat with her. Oh well, there’s always next year. These things are pretty addictive (not saying that I am) but crossing that finishing line makes you feel like anything is possible.
One thing is for sure, I made it with God’s strength. I prayed for strength and He delivered. He pushed me through when I thought I was weak. Without Him, I might not have made it.
Thank You!

Something bigger

It all leads to something bigger…
