A mission

So it all started when Jo Ni posted a picture of her Harrods’ macaroon..followed by a picture of a whole box of macaroons -_-
It sparked a memory that was buried long ago when I had a sudden craving to try them cos they look so yummy..then Zia said she’ll buy me macaroons from Whisk but we never went to Whisk :(

Then Blair (from Gossip Girl) decided to have cravings for macaroons -_- and kept munching on HUGE ones which made me crave for them even more..

AND Sam had to tell me that he went and tasted Nathalie’s famous macaroons in Solaris Dutamas, so I had a mission – to find and buy macaroons. ACCOMPLISHED!

Went on a few websites, searching for good macaroons in town. Many gave Nathalie the thumbs up, best there is, and the other was from Babycakes, G Tower, Jalan Tun Razak.
Had a trip to Serdang (to familiarise with the road from my house to the hospital which I will be attached), went for briyani gum at that famous place near UniTen, then..TADAH I had the most brilliant idea – to go buy macaroons.

At first I wanted to go to Nathalie’s Gourmet Studio but decided to go to Babycakes instead cos they were RM2 cheaper at Babycakes..reviews said they were good too so why not?

They had 8 flavours altogether, bought them all, ate 3, gave one to Sam, hence only 4 for the photoshoot. I couldn’t help myself ehehe XD They had Red Velvet, Black Sesame, Lemon (the yellow one in the picture), Bitter Choc (The polka doted one), Caramel (The brown one), Strawberry (the pinkish one), Green Tea, and Orange.

Sam, having tried the best at Nathalie’s, said that Babycakes’s macaroons are nothing compared to Nathalie’s. Well, I thought they were yummy..I’ve never had them before so they are  my benchmark. Maybe next time I’ll have the chance to try the ones from Nathalie’s or Harrods or the one in Singapore or the one in Subang (Whisk?) :)

I’m on another mission – a mission to find more yummy macaroons.
